Grilled cauliflower slices with turmeric sauce

Cauliflower Ingredients:

- 1 medium cauliflower.
- 2 tbsp olive oil.
- 2 tbsp lemon juice.
- ¾ tsp salt.
- ¼ tsp black pepper.

Turmeric Sauce Ingredients:
- 1 small sweet red pepper, cut into small cubes.
- 1 small red hot pepper, thinly sliced.
- 1 cup chicken broth.
- ¼ cup of water.
- 2 tbsp lemon juice.
- 1 tbsp chives, minced.
- 1 tbsp capers.
- 1 tbsp onion powder.
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder.
- 1 tsp cornstarch.
- 1 tsp sesame seeds.
- 1 tsp nigella seeds.
- ¼ tsp black pepper.
- ¼ tsp salt.

Roast cauliflower directions:
1 - Cut the cauliflower into crosswise even slices.

2- Mix the oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a small bowl.

3- Brush the cauliflower slices with the seasoning mixture on both sides.

4- Arrange the cauliflower slices on the grill, and grill on both sides until golden brown.

Turmeric sauce directons:
1- Heat the chicken broth in a large skillet over medium heat.

2- Add sweet and hot red pepper, capers, salt and black pepper, and stir occasionally until softened.

3- Mix the water, onion powder, turmeric and cornstarch in a small bowl. Add to the hot broth while continuing to whisk until the sauce ingredients are combined and have a slightly thicker consistency.

4- Add the chives, sesame and nigella seeds to the sauce and stir well, then remove from the heat.

5- Pour the sauce into a serving dish, arrange the grilled cauliflower slices on top, and serve.
