Dough ingredients:
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour.
- ½ cup corn flour.
- ⅔ a cup water.
- 2 tbsp corn oil.
- ¼ tsp salt.
Filling ingredients:
- 1 large tomato, grated.
Dough directions :
1- Mix the plain flour, corn flour and salt in a deep bowl.
2- Add the oil to the flour mixture, and rub it with your fingertips until it disappears.
3- Gradually add water to the flour mixture, and knead well by hand after each addition until it forms a soft dough that can be formed by hand.
4- Cover the bowl of dough with a towel, and set it aside for 15 minutes to rest.
5- Preheat the oven on medium heat, and grease the bottom of an oven tray with a little oil.
6- Sprinkle a little flour on the table, and spread the dough in the form of a medium-sized and thin circle.
7- Transfer the dough to the prepared tray, spread it out with your fingertips, and pierce it several times with a large fork so that it does not swell during baking.
8- Place the dough tray on the middle rack of the oven, and leave it for 5 minutes or until the dough dries but does not change color. Remove it from the oven.
Pizza directions:
1- Place the grated tomatoes, green pepper pieces, mushroom slices, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and hot water in a large non-stick pan, and mix the ingredients well together.
2- Place the pan over a high heat, and continue stirring for 4 minutes or until the ingredients are cooked and the sauce thickens. Remove from the heat.
3- Spread the sauce mixture on the pizza dough as soon as it comes out of the oven.
4- Distribute the whisked egg over the sauce and immediately spread it with the back of the spoon, then distribute the cheddar cheese over it.
5- Return the pizza to the middle rack of the oven, and leave it for 10 minutes or until the edges become a medium golden color.
6- Remove the pizza from the oven, and serve immediately.
