Cookies ingredients:
- 2 cup all-purpose flour.
- 1 cup butter, room temperature.

Directions:
1 - Preheat the oven to 375 F.

4 - Add the beaten egg, and mix again until combined.
5 - Sift in the flour, spices, and salt, and mix to combine. Then, bring together into a ball of dough using your hands.
6 - Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch in thickness.
7 - Use a star-shaped cutter to cut out your cookies and place them onto the prepared baking sheets.
8 -Bake for 15 minutes, or until just starting to brown around the edges.
9 -Leave the cookies on the sheets for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
10- Mix together the powdered sugar and water to make the icing.
11- Spread or pipe the icing all over the cooled cookies. Leave them to set at room temp.
