Iron deficiency is one of the causes of hair loss

The French endocrinologist, Paul Nathan, said in his latest scientific studies that the lack of iron stored in the body, about 50 micrograms per liter of blood, is one of the causes of hair loss.

Nathan added that iron is important for the metabolism of red blood cells, which carry oxygen to tissues in the body, such as the scalp. And 25% of women suffer from iron deficiency or anemia.

The doctor advised taking iron tablets in high doses, in addition to vitamin C, and focusing on food that contains iron, such as red meat, chicken, liver, egg yolk, broccoli, and lemon juice to increase 30% of iron absorption. And these tips must be followed for at least six months to build up iron reserves in the body.
