Ingredients:
- 2 lP medium-sized tomatoes.
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped.
- 2 medium sweet green peppers, cut into small cubes.
- 4 large garlic cloves, finely grated.
- 5 tbsp tomato paste.
- 2 tbsp olive oil.
- 1 tsp salt.
- 1 tsp ground black pepper.
- 1 tsp ground dry thyme.
- 1 tsp ground dry basil.
- ½ tsp dry ground dry sage.
- ½ tsp dry ground dry marjoram.
- ½ tsp sugar.
Directions:
1- Cut The tomatoes into medium-sized slices, and beat it in an electric mixer until become a smooth juice, and filter through a narrow-holes sieve.
2- Heat the oil in a pot over a medium heat, add the chopped onions and stir it for 3 minutes or until color starts to yellow.
3- Add the chopped garlic, and keep stirring the mixture for 1 minute or until it smells strongly.
4- Add tomato juice and paste to the mixture, and stir for 2 minutes.
5- Add the diced green peppers, all the spices, sugar and salt to the tomato sauce and stir well, then cover and leave it on the stove until come to boil.
6- Quiet the fire down under the sauce pot, and stirring occasionally for 20 minutes or until it becomes a thick sauce.
7- Remove the sauce from the stove, leave it until temperature subsides, then beat it in an electric mixer until it becomes a medium liquid sauce.
8- Place the pizza sauce in dry jars, and set aside to cool.
9- You can keep it in the freezer for 6 months, and kept in the refrigerator when using.
