Italian Cuisine
Ingredients:
- 1 package (1
oz) seasoning salad dressing mix.
- 1 package (1
lb) penne pasta.
- 4 oz cream
cheese, diced.
- 1 package (1
lb.) of mixed vegetables, thawed.
- 2 tbsp sliced
almonds or pine nuts.
Directions:
- Cook pasta
according to package directions and Strain.
- Saving 1 cup
of liquid for later use.
- Combine the
liquid from the pasta, mix with the seasoning salad
dressing and cream cheese, stirring until smooth.
- Add the vegetables
to the sauce and cook over medium heat for 4 to 6 minutes or until sauce is
bubbling and the vegetables are hot.
- Mix the pasta
with the sauce.
- Serve
immediately and garnish each plate with walnuts.
