Norway Cuisine
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs.
- 1 tbsp sugar.
- ¼ tsp salt.
- 1 cup flour.
- 1 cup milk.
- 1 tsp vanilla.
Directions:
- Beat eggs, sugar, salt in a pawl.
- Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth.
- Heat Rosette iron in deep, hot, oil 350 to 375 for 2 minutes.
- Drain excess from iron.
- Dip in batter to ¼ inch from top of iron, then immediately into hot
oil.
- Fry for 10 seconds or until golden brown.
- Lift out, tip upside down to drain.
- With fork, push Rosette off iron onto rack placed over paper towels.
- Reheat iron again and repeat.
- Stir batter from time to time, because it will get oil into it.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
