Classic Homemade Bread

Ingredients:

- 3 cups all-purpose flour.

- 2¼ tsp active dry yeast  

- 1 cup warm water (110°F / 43°C).  

- 2 tbsp oil.

- 1 ½ tsp sugar.

- 1 tsp salt.

Directions:

1- Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water, then let the mixture sit for 10 minutes until it becomes foamy.

2- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and oil with the yeast mixture. Knead by hand for 8 to 10 minutes or until a smooth dough forms.

3- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for one hour, or until it has doubled in size.

4- Shape into a loaf, place in a greased pan, and let rise again for 30 minutes.

5- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool before slicing.
