Ingredients:
- 4 small chicken legs, split.
- ½ cup plain yogurt.
- 2 cloves garlic, grated.
- ½ tbsp grated fresh ginger.
- 1 tbsp paprika.
- 1 tsp garam masala.
- ½ tsp ground turmeric.
- ½ tsp ground coriander.
- ¼ tsp cayenne.
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice.
- 1 tbsp olive oil.
- ½ tsp salt.
- ¼ tsp back pepper.
- 2 small red onions, cut into wedges.
- 1 small lemon, cut into wedges.
- fresh cilantro, for serving.
Directions:
1- In medium bowl, whisk together yogurt, garlic, ginger, paprika, garam masala, turmeric, coriander, cayenne, and lemon juice.
2- Add chicken, turn to coat and let sit for 2 to 4 hours.
3- Coat the air fryer basket with oil.
4- Remove chicken from marinade, season salt, and arrange, skin side up, in basket. Air-fry at 400°F for 12 minutes.
5- Toss onions with oil and ¼ tsp each salt and pepper and scatter around chicken pieces.
6- Air-fry for 8 to 12 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and onions are golden brown and tender.
7- Transfer to platter along with lemon wedges and sprinkle with cilantro.
