Ingredients:
- 3 cup pasta penne, boiled and drained.
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped.
- 1 medium bell red pepper, cut into small cubes.
- 1 ½ cup milk.
- ½ cup hot water.
- 4 tbsp tomato paste.
- 4 tbsp red chilli sauce.
- 2 tbsp ketchup.
- 2 tbsp butter.
- 1 tbsp corn oil.
- 2 tbsp flour.
- 1 tsp ground dry oregano.
- 1 tsp ground dry basil.
- 1 tsp salt.
- ¼ tsp black pepper.
- 2 cheese cubes.
Directions:
1- Heat the oil in a pan over high heat. Add chopped onion and red peppers cups and saute for 2 minutes.
2- Add tomato paste, hot water, salt, oregano, basil and mix well. Cover the pan and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
3- Add tomato ketchup and red chilli sauce. Mix well and set it aside.
4- Melt the butter in a separate pan, add flour into and mix well. Roast the mixture until the colour changes to golden.
5- Add half cup of milk and stir continously with a whisker and cook for a minute, then add the leftover milk and mix to get rid of any lumps, and set the sauce aside.
6- Pour the white sauce into the red saucepan and combine the two sauces together.
7- Add the cooked pasta to the pan and gently mix to coat it well in the sauce.
8- Add to bowls, garnish with grated cheese and serve.
