Garlic herb cheese bombs

Dough ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour.
- 1½ tsp garlic powder.
- ¼ tsp salt.
- 2½ tsp baking powder.
- 5 tbsp butter, room temperature .
- ¾ cup cold buttermilk .

Filling ingredients:
- 5 oz (140g) feta cheese, crumbled.
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped.

Brushing ingredients:
- 2 tbsp melted butter.
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped.

Dough directions:
1- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, garlic powder, salt and baking powder.

2- Add the butter into the dry mixture and knead with fingertips until the mixture resembles pea-size crumbs.

3- Pour in the buttermilk and gently knead to combine and come together.

4- Refrigerate for about 15 minutes, to chill into a dough.

Cheese bombs directions:
1- Preheat the oven to 400 °F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2- Mix the feta cheese and parsley in a small bowl.

3- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll out the dough into a 12x15-inch rectangle shape and cut into 16 equal pieces.

4- Place 2 tsp of cheese mixture in the center of each dough piece and wrap with dough to cover the cheese all around. Seal the edges well, roll into a ball and transfer to the prepared baking sheet.

5- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

6- Mix the melted butter and parsley in a small bowl.

7- Remove the cheese bombs from the oven, brush over the tops with the prepared herb butter and serve hot.
