Ingredients:
- 2 lb orzo pasta.
- 1 tbsp finely grated lemon peel.
- 1 green onion, thin sliced.
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley leaves.
- 2 tbsp chopped dill.
- 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped.
- 1 tbsp oil.
- 1 ½ tsp salt.
- ½ tsp black pepper.
Directions:
1- Heat a large amount of water in a medium-sized saucepan over a high heat until it comes to boil.
2- Add salt and lemon peel to the boiling water. Leave for 2 minutes or until lemon peels soften.
3- Add the orzo to the boiling water. Cover and simmer for 7 minutes or until cooked well, then drain.
4- Pour the orzo into a deep bowl, add all the herbs, black pepper and oil and mix it well. Served warm.
