Dough ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour.
- ¼ cup olive oil.
- ¼ cup liquid milk.
- 2 tbsp powdered milk.
- 1 tbsp instant yeast.
- 1 tsp sugar.
- Pinch of salt.
- Warm water for kneading.
Filling ingredients:
- ½ cup tomato sauce.
- 6 slices of smoked salami.
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese.
- 1 sweet red bell peppers, thinly sliced.
- ½ cup sliced olives.
- 1 tsp dried thyme.
Directions:
1- In the kneading bowl knead the ingredients of the dough until you get a soft dough, and let it ferment in a warm place for about an hour.
2- Roll the dough with a rolling pin in a rectangular shape.
3- Spread on the dough tomato sauce and smoked salami slices, then cheese, thyme, pepper and olives.
4- Roll the dough into a roll or cylinder shape, and close the ends.
5- Carefully cut it with a sharp knife in circular pieces.
6- Put them in a greased tray, and bake in a hot oven at 200° C for 20 minutes.
7- Take it out and serve warm.
