Turkish cheese bread

Dough ingredients:
- 500g all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup warm water
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg + 1 white
- 1 tbsp dried yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt

Filling ingredients:
- 220g feta cheese
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- ¼ cup yogurt
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper

Glazing ingredients:
- 1 beaten egg yolk
- 1 tbsp milk
- 4 tbsp sesame seeds

Dough directions:
1  - Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the water and allow to infuse for 5 minutes or until it start to bubble.

2  - In a large bowl mix the flour and salt.

3  - Add the milk, oil, yogurt and whole egg plus the white.

4  - Mix with your hands until blended into a dough, and then shape into a ball.

5  - On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for 5 to 6 minutes or until its smooth and pliable.

6  - Cover with a towel and allow to prove in a warm place for 1 hours. It should double in size.

Filling directions:
1  - Crumble the feta cheese into a bowl.

2  - Add the chopped parsley, the yogurt, salt and black pepper, and mix well.

Bread directions:
1  - Knock back the dough and then knead to get out any trapped air.

2  - Pull off small balls of the dough, about 4 cm in diameter.

3  - Flatten the dough balls in your palm, then place a spoonful of the cheese filling onto one side of the dough circle.

4  - Fold the other half over and seal the edge, shape the dough into a pointed oval shape, and place it in a tray coated with a little oil.

5   - Repeat until all the dough and filling mixture is used up.

6  - Preheat the oven to 180°C, Gas Mark 6.

7  - For glazing: Beat the milk and the remaining egg yolk.

8  - Brush the rolls with the beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds.

9  - cook in the oven for 25 minutes until golden brown.

10- Remove from the oven and allow to cool a little before serving.
