Cookies ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour.
- 1 ½ cup margarine.
- ¾ cup powder sugar.
- 3 eggs.
- 1 tsp vanilla extra.
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder.

Dates filling ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups mashed dates (ajwa).
- 2 tbsp margarine.
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder.

Dates filling directions:
- Open the dates take off the grains and placed in the mixer bowl.
- Add the margarine and cinnamon to the dates; grind the ingredients on high speed until blended together and the dough become smooth without blocs.
- Grease your hands with a little oil, take 1 tbsp of the date’s dough and shape it as a ball, do the same with the rest amount of filling.

Cookies directions:
- Sieve flour and baking powder together in bawl.
- Beat butter in another bowl with electric mixer until smooth.
- Add the sugar powder to the margarine and blend well.
- Add the eggs and vanilla to the mixture and beat until combined.
- Fold in flour mixture directly, and mix it with a wooden spoon until dough is cohesive.
- Knead the dough by hand until it becomes smooth and soft, then cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and set aside for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven at high heat; cover flatbread trays with parchment paper.
- Shape all the dough as a ball in the size of a grain of large lemon.
- By fingertips, press the dough ball from the center to make it as a small cup.
- Stuffs the dough by a date ball, closes the dough tightly on the filling and place on cookie sheet.
- Bake in the middle rack in the oven for 18 minutes or until takes as lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
