Ingredients: - 2 ½ cup all-purpose flour. - 1 ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded. - 1 ¼ cup buttermilk. - ½ cup cold butter, cut into small cubes. - 2 large fresh jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped. - 1 tbsp baking powder. - 1 tsp salt. - ½ tsp sugar. Directions: 1- Preheat oven at 415°F. Line the bottom of a large baking sheet with parchment paper. 2- Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in the food processor on high speed for a few seconds. 3- Add the butter cubes to the flour mixture. Beat continuously several times, then on high speed for 1 minute, or until the butter disappears into the flour. 4- Pour the mixture into a large bowl, add the chopped jalapenos and grated cheese, and mix well until combined. 5- Add the buttermilk to the mixture and knead by hand until it forms a dry dough. 6- Sprinkle a little flour on the table surface and in your hands.
