Spicy Fried Chicken Strips

Marinade Ingredients:

- 2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

- 1 ½ cups yogurt

- ¼ cup hot sauce

- ½ tsp garlic powder

- ½ tsp paprika

Crispy Coating Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 tsp garlic powder

- 1 ½ tsp dried oregano

- ½ tsp paprika

- ½ tsp chili powder

- ½ tsp salt

- ½ tsp black pepper

- 2 cups vegetable oil

Directions:

1. Cut the chicken breasts into 3 cm thick strips.

2. In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, hot sauce, ½ tsp garlic powder, and paprika.

3. Place the chicken strips in the yogurt mixture, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours, better overnight.

4. In a large bowl, combine the flour, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.

5. Remove the chicken strips from the marinade, discarding any excess. Coat each strip in the flour mixture and arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.

6. Dip each strip back into the yogurt mixture, then coat it again with the flour mixture.

7. In a deep fryer or large skillet, heat the oil and fry the chicken strips in small batches for 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown.

8. Drain the spicy chicken strips on paper towels and serve.
